About Michael
The arts have been in me since I was a boy. I was a lead singer in a few bands, plus a singer/solo guitarist. In 1993 I began sculpting.
My first sculpture was an Indian chief with a 36-feather headdress, carved with chisels, hammers, and sandpaper. It took me 280 hours. When it was finished, I decided there must be an easier way. So I bought my first chainsaw. One, then two, then three…
I spent 21 years in Bunbury, WA, selling my work to hotels, restaurants, and galleries. I worked in wood for over 21 years, then added Hebel Stone when I moved back to Melbourne in 2005.
Purchasing
Due to their size and weight, most items must be quoted for shipping. Some items require collection from our studio.
Delivery within metro Melbourne is $50, and $100 for Victorian country. All interstate deliveries must be quoted first. To arrange a quote, please tell me which item you wish to purchase and where you’d like it to be delivered. You’ll find contact details below.
Payment is via PayPal (we’ll send you an invoice), direct bank transfer (details below), or cash on collection. We don’t accept credit cards directly but you can pay your PayPal invoice via credit card.
